I am guessing I found the reason. Look at those headers, they look worse than the headers on my car, and mine costs less than half of Mercedes. So I looked up a bunch of videos, and holy Mother of sweet baby Jesus.

most likely required emissions equipment made that exhaust design necessary too. look at the size of those cats.
Having said that...I have driven (and put down the hammer in) two C63's...I never once thought to myself 'you know, this thing is just too quiet'...

Well I have heard two as well, and they aren't quiet, but they could always be louder ;) I have had a few years of drumming and listening to heavy metal music. So what is loud to me, may be deafening to others.
